How to Transfer a Lifetime License to a Different Roaster
This guide explains how to transfer a lifetime license from one roaster to another in your Giesen Coffee Roasters account.
Requirements

Source Roaster (currently holding the license):

Has exactly one subscription (a lifetime license).

Destination Roaster (receiving the license):

Has no existing subscriptions or licenses.

Step-by-Step Process
1. Open the Roaster Details

Log in at giesen.cloud

Go to Roasters in the main menu.

Select the roaster that currently holds the lifetime license.
2. Go to the Subscriptions Tab

On the selected roaster’s details page, click the Subscriptions tab.

If the roaster meets the requirements for a lifetime license transfer, you will see a Transfer License button.
3. Start the Transfer

Click Transfer License.

A dialog box appears with a dropdown of eligible destination roasters.

If no roasters appear, none meet the eligibility requirements.
4. Select the Destination

From the dropdown, choose the roaster to receive the license.

Details such as roaster name, model, and serial number will be displayed.
5. Confirm the Transfer

Review your selection.

Click Transfer License again to finalize.

The process usually completes immediately.
6. Check the Result
-
You will be redirected to the destination roaster’s page.

Verify the lifetime license is now listed there.

The source roaster will no longer have a license.
Important Notes

Transfers are immediate and cannot be undone without contacting support.

Both roasters must be registered under your account.

The system will prevent the transfer if requirements are not met.
Troubleshooting

Make sure both roasters meet the requirements (source has one lifetime license; destination has none).

Check that you have permissions to manage subscriptions.
