Giesen 6 and 15; a closer look

Mikael takes you behind the scenes at Giesen, and not just anywhere: take a look at our test room where the brand-new Giesen 6 and 15 are being developed, tested, and prepared for release in 2026. But what makes these machines unique? How do they differ from the current models and, above all, how will you, the end user, benefit?

It starts with the physical characteristics of the machine. For example, the external control box is now built into the roaster. This saves you space and makes the roaster much easier to use. You operate the machine completely wirelessly via a tablet or laptop in combination with Profiler.

In addition, the internal cyclone has been significantly improved. Whereas previously you had to empty the space under the cooling sieve with a vacuum cleaner, the collection point has now been moved to the back of the machine. Here you will find a collection bin where the chaff is collected. The bin is easy to empty, and you are ready to roast again.

Energy sources

But what about the energy source for your roaster? The Giesen 6 and 15 are completely modular. Suppose you have decided to go for a Giesen 6, then you choose your energy source. In the case of gas, the machine is equipped with a pre-mix gas burner; if you opt for electric, the machine will be equipped with a hot air blower. giesen 6 spread HQ

Packages

This modularity is once again evident in the various packages that you can then add to your roaster. We offer three optional packages, all of which can be added to your roaster. We are happy to explain them to you below.

Control package

Allows you to control your drum speed control, underpressure control, and cooling control in detail, record it, and save it in your roast profiles.

Sensor package

Provides you with an additional sensor in the drum, equipped with AI-controlled bean temperature tracking and an AI roast prediction curve.

Automatic package

Provides you with an electrically automated hopper valve, roast drum discharge valve, and cooling sieve discharge valve.
