Install and connect Giesen Profiler 2

Start here to install Giesen Profiler 2, connect your roaster and record your first roast. These guides use English screen names from Profiler 2.3.3. Set up the application outside an active roast.

1 Install and sign in

1. Open Download Giesen Profiler. Create a GiesenCloud account if needed, or sign in with your existing account.
2. Open Downloads and choose the installer for your computer: Windows x64 or ARM64, or macOS Intel or Apple Silicon.
3. Install and open Profiler. Sign in with the same account.
4. Under Settings → Account, check your email address and team. Under Settings → Language and General → Units, choose your language, temperature and weight units.

See System requirements for computer requirements. If your roaster model is missing, ask Support to confirm the correct installer.

2 Connect your roaster

Have the actual model and serial number ready. For a network connection, confirm the controller version and machine address.

• W series: connect via Ethernet — includes links to Windows and macOS network setup.
• G series: connect via Network or Bluetooth.

Check: current readings arrive on the dashboard and match your machine. A saved connection name or successful ping alone is not sufficient.

3 Record your first roast

Follow Record your first roast. Before charging, check Settings for your first recording. The guide explains recording, batch details, events, saving and finding your result.

Account and help

Essential is the free local Profiler. Cloud synchronisation and team features depend on your subscription. Internet is needed for sign-in and initial setup.
